Happy Birthday To My friend & fellow stamper Ilene!! It is always a chalange for me to make a card for a fellow stamper! I must say...I am really happy with the way this one turned out...even tho it is nothing like the one I had in my head! :-)
The beautiful paper is just some open stock 12 x 12 scrapbook paper from our local craft store. I made it extra special & glitzy by first spraying it with spray adhesive & then covering the whole thing in Martha Stewarts Crystal fine gilitter. I used the same technique for the scallop tag.
I used some pearls & a hat pin from Stamin' ups pretties kit to finish out the bow. After I used Stampin' ups ticket punch on the corners I add a little more bling with some purple crystals. Added a clear cristal heart to finish the tag. That's it...A very special birthday card!!
Had a blast today!!! had a group of very talented ladies over for make-n-takes...there were 6 of us & each one had to bring something to share and the supplies for all. It is always so fun when we do this...as you can imagine....food, friends, & crafts!!! what more could you ask for!!
So needless to say I have lots of other things to share! so see ya latter today!
