Here is my funny little card:

The cardstock is craft, cream & red from PTI. The image I got last year after Valentines day so wanted to be sure to use it this year. It is from Great Impressions. I colored my image with Copics. The phrases are from last years PTI set, Love songs. The little punched out hearts were done with a MS punch. I just used scraps of red paper as my background. Of course the large heart is a nestie. That is it!! soooo easy!!
Now time to get the brats on the grill...so they will be done before half time!! Be back again later!!

I didn't even actually sew...as you can see my needle & thread was a sharpie ;) All the paper is PTI The heart shapes are cut from nesties. The LOVE is also PTI. That is really about it. another sketch

Hey 2 cards in one day wow!!! this one I just had to try! I made it a valentine as I have several to do. The sketch is here At My Creative Corner. A new one to me :)
The beautiful paper is from a paper pack by... Me & my Big Ideas (gorgeous papers)... you can't really tell my the photo but it is all shimmery & shiny. The black background hearts are of velvet paper & the silver is metallic paper. I tried to make it a little more manly & not put the bow on it....just could not do it!!!
Well I do need to go check out what the other gals did with the sketch!! (Love that part) always such wonderful eye candy!!

This is another Valentine card I did over the weekend...all papers are from PTI the hearts are of course spellbinders. I just used my corner heart punch to punch out the center with a decorative edge. The ribbon is from my stash.
Hope you are all having a good week!! wish I were on vacation as there are soooo many fun , fantastic sketches, contests & blog candy out there, I wish I had the time to participate in at least a few of them....but I have to go to work! A valentine start!

Well I have finally started making valentine cards! This one I got to use my latest PTI stamp set purchase! I must admit I had a heck of a time getting all those xoxoxoxoxoxo's in a straight line!!! first just to get the stamp on the block straight took forever & then onto the paper half ways straight. Uff Daa!!! I also used all SU paper & 2 MS & 1 SU punch. I am happy with the way it turned out!! I love pink & brown but think it actually looks better in person as the photo always seems to wash the pink out!
That sure was some football game yesterday!!!! There was a lot of yelling going on here & you could hear it out side as well!!! (we had the windows open) The Arizona Cardinals have always been sort of a joke....even when you go to the home games always more fans for the other teams!!! So needless to say everything down here is football mania!!!!!
Well that is it for this beautiful Monday!!! hope you all have a fantastic week!!!! see you soon!!!

With the extra hours at work & the bad tooth ache, I just did not have the time...then I felt bad when he got me one..so...I came home for lunch on Thursday & looked through all my stuff to find anything even close to a guy's card & I found this one! (to the right)It is a fabulous card that my friend Marge shared at one of our group make & takes...I just took out the brad & added a heart button from my stash & stamped happy valentines day to the front...and what do you know??? instant valentine card!! TAA DAA!!!

I guess you do what you have to!! ha ha ha
just wondering if any one else has done anything like that??

Happy Valentines Day

This card is one of those Happy accidents!! It started out being a much longer card but then when I was working on it I dropped an inked stamp on the red paper,Sooooo I just cut it off & it ended like this...I like it!!! reminds me of a tuxido. The stamp is an old time Fave from SU. Everything else is just stuff I had laying around in my crafty cave!

On another note...OH MY HECK!!! did anyone else see Tinna Turner on the Grammys?? Is she awsome or what! How old is she anyway? I thought the show was great...lots of fab entertainment!! not allot of BS!

It's a guy card!

I am really enjoying the criss-cross card. I have a hard time with guy cards...just against my nature not to put on some ribbon or something that sparkles. So this was a bit of a challenge for me. I am sort of happy with the end result.
The DP is some I purchased by the sheet at the scrapbook store, The night of navy & the close to coco are from stampin' up as well as the tab on the top that is made with a stampin up punch. I made the letters with my Big Kick & a xyron sticker maker.
This card is for a challenge where you have to make a card with the word LOVE on it. The Challenge is from
http://challenge-cmutd.blogspot.com/
This is what I came up with. Hope you like it!

My blossom won't bloom :-(

I hope most of you have seen the tutorial & beautiful creations of Pam Bassett...
well, She did a wonderful tutorial for a ribbon blossom....I gave it a try...but mine won't bloom :-( it is more like a pinwheel
sigh............. Oh well, maybe I should call it a day. The rest of the card I did using scraps of all the pink paper I have laying around.
The stamp I got at Michael's on the dollar table. All of the brads are from Michael's also. I used my new scallop punch from Stampin' up for the center.
As you can tell...I have some problems getting the paper to line up straight!..Any tips on that would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you!....now I am depressed & need to take a break from all this :-)
See Ya soon!
