Walk the dog

I realized yesterday that I have really gotten away from any kind of coloring!! I also realized...it is very soothing!! And I enjoy it!! So you will be seeing some more of that in the future :) My BBGF Marge let me borrow some of her fun girly girl stamps which I have been having sooo much fun with!!
This card is for my DD who will be 21 this weekend!! this card will be from our dogs :) If you knew her you would understand!!
She is one of the lucky ones in life as she is truly living her bliss!! She has been an animal lover all her life & is now a Surgical Vet Tech. & gets to work with animals everyday all day!! I miss her living at home...but I must say I do not miss all of the animals she has had over the years...Hamsters, rats, ferrits, birds, a chicken, fish, cats, dogs...I put my foot down about the snake!! and no we do not live on a farm...not even in the country!

Bla bla bla....anyway...I colored the image with regular colored pencils & used some of that fun flocking stuff on the dog. Used a couple of stampin up punches for the circles & the sentiment is from papertray.

OMH, that is so adorable, Gwen! And I definitely think you should do more coloring -- you're definitely good at it; totally love the great job of shading! Sometimes it pays to loan out your stamps & get some new inspiration for yourself! My DD would have loved that card too, for sure!

Love the fluffy dog, must remember that when I come to use this stamp! Your shading's fab, you must colour more!
