Favorite new glitter technique

I am so exctited that our local Michael's craft store now carries these little boxes! It looks big in the picture but the actual size is about 6 X 6 1/2 including the handle. They only come in white or box brown so I purchased a white one & painted it cream with acrylic paint as to match the paper a little better. It also has an oval window in the front which I covered with paper...I did not want the recipient to be able to see inside. The ribon does match allot better in person....again I apologize for the bad photo.
Fot the little birthday wishes tag in the front I used the 2 different sizes of the Marvy scallop punches. Sponged the edges and decorated the ovals with Papercrafts beautiful stamps. If you could see the picture better...you could see I then used my "favorite new technique" glitter over spray adhesive! If you ever try this... the results are stunning!
these are just a couple of pics of what I use & how I do it.

I use a spray adheasive...this is just the kind I like best...sometimes you have to ask where it is as some stores have it locked up so the glue sniffers can't get to it! (OH brother) You don't need much BUT the more you spray the thicker your glitter will be. I have also found that the finer the glitter the better the result! I just happened to like Martha Stewarts crystal fine glitter. It is best to do this outside...but for this time of year you can use a well ventalated area & BE SURE your work surface is covered! Once you have sparyed the adhesive on on your project....just dump on the glitter, & pore the excess back into the bottle. Then I use a piece of computer paper & lay it over my glittered project & press down or even roll over it with my brayer . Thats' it!!
I also love it to glitz up my Flowers a bit...it is not meant to change the color of your project...just to glitz it up a bit! Also if you look at my previous post you will see how beautifuly it glitzes up plain scrap paper.
If you love glitter...this is a must try for you!! Good Luck!

Thanks for looking :-)

I have to wait until it gets warmer here, but definately will try that.
The box is the bomb, actually it reminds off the Victorian age.
