Can flowers be blue?

Happy Easter all my fellow bloggers!! We are having the most beautiful day here in Arizona :) I have been wanting to play along with Becky's Compose a card  challenge. This challenge has challenged me beyond frustration!!! LOL!!! I have been working on it for 2 days! These are the deets to the chalenge:

seems pretty simple..right??? HA!
this is what I ended up with.

Not ecactly sure of all the rules....hope it's ok to use punches & other things?? My papers today are PTI & cosmo cricket. Buttons are all PTI, flowers are made with various punches, mostly Marvy I think. My flower stem is actually made of black felt....something I picked up at CKC a while back. The flag is also black felt. The sentiment is  PTI. OBVIOUSLY I need some serious practice with the old sewing machine! LOL!!
All & all, I have decided this one has been a good learning experience!!! Can't wait for the next!! :)
Now I better get outside & enjoy some of this weather!!
Thanks for todays visit!!!

Of course flowers can be blue!!! Love yours, that stem, the buttons and that CC paper! It turned out very cute. I even like your "imperfect" stitching, as it gives your card character, I think!

I think you did an awesome job on the challenge. I especially like your "distressed" stitching and the colors are a great combination!

Have not seen this site before, might have to check it out!
