Taylored Expressions Sketch #86

Wow!!! can't believe it has been such a long time since my last post! The dental office I work at moved to a new location. New everything! including computer software :( It has been a real challenge but I am hoping the worst is over & things can get back to somewhat normal, whatever that is...LOL!!! It has seriously been weeks since I have even set foot in my craft room!! In order to get the Old mojo moving I chose Taylor's sketch #86 as my first project.
This is the sketch:

Here is my card:

The weather has finally cooled here a bit (Ya HOOOO) so I chose these cute little snowmen for my first subjects. I think they are so cute! they are from Just rite stamps. I was so happy to see some JRS at out local CKC convention this year...I did get to take a day and attend a couple of weeks ago & have been itching to use some of my new stuff!! :) All papers are from SU. I used the snowflake folder from cuttlebug, the felt snowflakes were another CKC purchase, Ribbon is PTI, and the Rhinestones are from Michaels. I also used the SU scallop punch, some nesties, stickles & copic markers. That's it for this one....had so much fun....think I will do another!!! Hope you all are having a fantastic weekend...I have missed visiting....hope to get to that later this evening!!!! See you back real soon!!

Hey, welcome BACK, BBGF! I think it's too funny you're in your craft room creating with pink & aqua & I'm in mine using red & aqua -- who knew! LOL - great minds? But of course!!! :~0 Your card it just as cute as can be; love those JRS stamps & your new felt snowflakes -- too sweet! Can't wait to see your next post!

Oh Gwen, this is just adorable. I too work full time and wish with all of my heart that I could just stay at home like so many other crafters. It doesn't look like your hiatus has caused your mojo to suffer at all. Great design and adorable images. Fantastic job.

Thanks you so much for the comment on my blog. Your little snowmen are darling and I agree that the pink & aqua look perfect together! Good luck at work. I just retired (yeah!) from a doctor's office and went through the conversion to electronic medical records. Works great in the end but I know just how much stress changes can create!

Love this card, Gwen!! The colors are so pretty and even though we have snow on the ground waaay too early, it does make me feel rather Christmas-y!! That is a great sketch, may have to give it a try tomorrow.
