Another color Challenge

This is color challenge #2 by Dawn Mcvey.....this one....really hard for me so kept it really simple! I am so into the bright spring colors right now & this is so far away from that. So here is the card:

The colors are Celery, turquoise, brown & white. My stamped image is from Inkadinkado. Oh...this is my latest craze...I have been putting this little brown fence on everything!!!! This weekend I have made 4 projects with that on it! It is made with the Martha Stewart punch & my nesties. Ribbon is from Michael's & the glittered birds are made with Martha Stewart glitter. March Blog Hop!!

Well....here we go again... Paper Trey Blog hop time :) This Months challenge is to create your own background paper & then create a card/project with it. It was really fun creating the paper.....but I must admit...I had a hard time just cutting it up!! Did you???? I don't exactly love my card this time but really wanted to play along so going to post it anyway. For my background paper I used Raspberry fizz paper from PTI & night of navy ink from SU. I used the circle set & the around & about sentiments sets for my background stamps.

So this is the paper before I "cut it all up"

Then this is the finished card! I realize the papers do not seam like the same color but it is just the lighting....my background paper would not fit into my little photo taking box!!

Well, that's it!!! hope this all works out with the time change & all....this is going to have to be "pre-posted" to go on at 3:30 Arizona time (when I am at work) Then have to somehow get to the PTI site (still at work) shhhhhhhhhhhh...don't tell!!!! ;) and post my link. New Color Challenge

OK my fellow paper crafters!!! there is a new color challenger in town!!! So exciting! you can see the challenge here.

It is hosted but the fabulous Dawn Mcvey. These are the beautiful colors....aren't they yummy!!!!!!!

I must say this color challenge was a bit out of the box for me....as usually I am a 2 maybe 3 color gal. But I am happy the way this turned out! I will definitely use this combo again :) Thanks Dawn! The paper I Used is a combination of Paper trey & Stampin Up. The ribbon is also Paper Trey. The cute little cup cake is Hero Arts & the bling is from the clearance table at Michael's.

Presents for me!!

Greetings from sunny warm Arizona!!! As most of you know...I work at a dental office. Sometimes we have to refer our patients out to other offices for things we don't do, like orthodontics (braces) and then they usually send us treats as a thank you. Well this time instead of cookies & candies Dr. Tipton's Orthodontic office brought me some paper crafting supplies!!! What a surprise! This is a picture of what I got!

So awesome!!! So I used some of the beautiful paper to create this thank you card for them!

I love this dental Bella! she is just perfect for all my "dental" cards. I am not sure where the paper is from but the ribbon is from Michaels & the "you make me smile is from G rated stamps. I paper pieced her top & the rest is colored with prisma color markers.

Finally a post!

Oh my gosh!!!! I can not believe how long it has been since my last post!!! My "paying" job has just sucked up all my time & mojo!!!!! **sigh**

Oh well, at least I have a job...right! I was supposed to be cleaning my craft room today & would you believe...just started crafting...tee hee hee!!

This is a quick thank you card I came up with. The pink CS is from SU. The black is new from PTI. Which I used the ever popular Swiss dots cuttle bug folder on. Both punches I used are Martha Stewart. And the ribbon is from Michaels. That's it!! quick & easy! But now alas I have to get back to cleaning my craft room. Hope I can stay on task this time...NOT!!! :)
