Hot -N- Spicy

Wow! a mid week post for me!!! I actually did this card over the weekend. It is for a Hot -N- Spicy card challenge from http://www.daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/
It really was a challenge for me too!! It is a bit different from my norm...but not bad. It is actually a tri-fold card. The piece of chipboard covers half the top & half the bottom & that is how it opens...if that makes any sense at all!!! Every thing I used on this card is from my scrap pile except the chipboard & I got that at the CK convention.
That's it for today...you all should give it try!

Finally a new card!!

I finally got to make a card today!!!

My Job, like a thief has been stealing all of my time for the last three weeks AND will be for the next few! I really should not have (so many other things to do) but I went to the HUGE CK scrapbook convention yesterday!! OMG!!! it was my first time goings as I am not much of a scrapbooker and again OMG!!! I can not believe what I have been missing! I was able to get into 3 classes taught by the gals from Paper Crafts Mag. This is one of the card designs...I just changed it up a bit...this is actually a challenge from over at CardVarks http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/

you are to make a card black/white plus one other color...That's it! I have a few other challenge/sketches to the right of my blogg if any of you are looking for something to do! The papers for this chard are all SU as well at the Polk-a-dot stamp & black ink. the Stamp set is Country Life from http://www.belindalandtroop.com/ Clear Artistic stamps. Can you see my cute little butterfly??The large flower is a SU punch & the center is a Marvy I believe. I will try to get back sometime this week as I have lots of other things I WANT to do & share.....So you all keep on crafting!!! can not wait to see all of your next creations!!!

Is it garden time yet?

Happy Monday all!!! I hope you all had a good weekend!
This is the most fun project I have done in a while....I have had it in my head for a long time & finally found the time to complete it.
This is for my sister the Gardner. She lives in Wisconsin & they still have snow :( She is really itching to get to digging in the dirt! So I thought this most appropriate for her BD.
The first part of it here is the card & gift box. I just love it...actually wish I could keep it ;) The box has a pair of garden gloves, some little peet pots & some hand lotion.

This Second part is a Criss-cross envelope with flower seed packets in it which I decorated with DP. I just love garden Bells! she is perfect for my sis!
All of the paper from this post is from Papertyey. All stamps also from Papertrey....except for the Bella & the wheelbarrow Is from SU. It all matches perfectly..
Well that is it for today...now I am off to work!!! hope you all get out in your gardens soon! (if you want to) Tee Hee Hee! Thanks for the visit!!

With Deepest Sympathy

I know these are all of our least favorite cards to make but...sometimes you have to. This is for one of my friends who lost a good friend of hers to cancer.

All of the paper is from Stampin up. The beautiful stamp set is from Clear Artistic stamps... it is called "whispers of dreams" & the deepest sympathy is from Wordsworth.

After a terribly loooong 2 weeks at work I had a fabulous day yesterday!!!! Our stamp group got together for the day & did cards & crafts! They are all such good friends! I was not going to go as I really did not have the time...so so glad I did! Thanks for making my day/week!! Marge, Ilene & Deva!!!! you are all so awesome & talented!!!! I did have a little time to craft today, but that is over now as it is time to get ready for the week already :( No crafty day off this week but I will try to sneak in another post as well as visit a few of you. enjoy the rest of what is left of the weekend!!

Happy Birthday Dear Hubby!

Happy Birthday My Dear Ron! Monday Was my DH's BD. In all of the craziness lately I actually got a card made for him & ON TIME!!! Thought I would try my hand at water color...I do like the end result :) I was also going to use this for the my paperworld sketch, but forgot my DH looks at my blogg all the time...so any way... that is where the card design came from. The paper is all from my scrap pile & the stamp is from SU. I did use some nice water color paper to paint on. The Happy Birthday is from papertrey.

Sadly....That is all I have time for...I did get to do a bit of visiting & commenting this evening :) You all are so so talented thanks for all the inspirations!!

Hope to be back in a couple of days!! Hey...Maybe I will actually get a day off this week!

Another Cosmo Bella Birthday

So Sorry to be gone so long! It has been a crazy busy week & it looks like it will continue onto the next few :(

But, what are you going to do? You just keep on keepin' on & do what you gota do!! So my friends, I will craft when I can, post when I can & Surf & comment when I can. After all a gal's gota have some fun!!

This is my last Cosmo for a while, I am starting to think she drinks too much! Baa ha ha.....this one is for my SIL. I just love the DP from SU! I just glitzed it up a bit with some Gemstones from Michale's.
I also made her this Little tin with a gift card inside. Now that I look at it...Bella really does need a bar to lean on!!

Don't feel bad if I haven't left a comment for a while...sadly I have not even had the time to look & I miss that terribly! I hope spring has found at least some of you! I think summer is already here in Arizona! All of my flowers are so so beautiful, Thanks to my DH for taking such good care of them for me!!! Gota run...keep on creating!!
