WOW!! post #2 today!! I am supposed to be cleaning & taking Christmas stuff down but when I was doing my normal morning blog surf I noticed that I still had time to enter Taylored Expressions last sketch Challenge! Woot! Woot! It's been several weeks since I have had a chance to play along. I love this sketch! Ya know how some are just easier then others :)
This is my card:
I am excited to post this as it is my first attempt at the (new to me) edging technique I learned from my new crafty Friend Terri. If you check out her blog you will see how well she uses this technique. SO cool!! I love the result :) All papers for my card today are from PTI, The ribbon is from Michael's, I used my go to MS fence punch to make the little blue edge. I used a dollar stamp from Michael's to make the background on the yellow paper. Colored the picture & the rhinestones with copics. (I remembered this time Marge)!! Also used my favorite Nestie Lables on this card. Well that's it for this one! Now what I REALLY Want to do know is go back to my craft room...but I better try & get some work done around the house!! We shall see!!! :) what ever you do today....make it a good one!!!

OMG--I LOVE this!!! Your shaded edging is just SUPREME, BBGF! I'm really jealous - MUST learn to do that - SERIOUSLY! I need lessons! Can't believe that BG paper you created - thought at first it was PTI paper. So glad you remembered to use Copics for coloring your rhinestones -- my go-to gimmick! Speaking of which, that fence-post edging was totally CLEVER too -- forget house cleaning, you're on too great a crafting ROLL!
love sunflowers! lol, don't you wish the house cleaning and laundry fairies would come for a visit so you can craft!
Love this card...fantastic job!
Good job, missy!! I think you've mastered Terri's technique - isn't it fun?!! Love that picket fence edge - looks like pinking. Such a clever girl!
AMAZING card, Gwen! You have definitely got the technique down, too stinkin' easy, right?! You created a darling card using Taylor's sketch, I have it printed out, but have yet to make a card using it! Awesome job!
Gwen - what an awesome card! OK, so I checked out Terri's blog, and I love the edging technique. How do you do that? :)
