Not my fave.

This card is certainly not one of my favorites! In fact I wasn't even going to post it! I did spend allot of time on it :-) I really hate it when that just happens some times! The ideas is o.k. but I think it is the colors or maybe it is the ribbon....I don't know.

Fall Card

I like the simple, clean cards sometimes. This one, I actually made the wreath with a piece of chipboard I colored brown. Stuck fall colored leaves on that I punched from my Martha Stewart Leaf punch, & tied on a bow. The stamp is from stampin' up. The ink & the marker I used are both Chocolate chip also from Stampin' up.

Happy Birthday to my friend Julie!

This card is for my friend julie at work....hope she likes it!
My first time using the felt flowers. I did scrap lift the idea from the November issue of papercrafts page 75. I just changed it a bit to make it my own style. ALSO Julie is an Arbonne consultant. So if you are into all the creams & potions for keeping you looking & feeling young you can check out her website (it is in my links list under non crafty friends)

more Arizona snow men

Perhaps I should have named my blog " my glittery days off" I put glitter or stickles on almost everything...specially the Christmas stuff & this one is no exception. I believe the paper, the ribbon & the snowflakes (roller) are from stampin' up. The word stamp is from close to my heart & the snowmen stamp is from Great Impressions.

From Christmas back to Halloween

I love making these flip flop photo holders! This one holds some pictures of my dogs in Halloween costumes. Here in Arizona you can get flip flops year around. I got these on the sale rack at Michale's for a buck. Makes a cute Halloween decoration! I have made a few of these using different flip flops or shoes...I will be making a baby one soon with baby shoes & pictures...I must say these are just darling!!

Long time no blogg :-(

Happy Fall Ya All!

I got tired of making Cards for a while so I decided to start a few other projects. The little door hangers are always fun, quick & easy to make. They can be made in an instant for any occasion! Holidays, Birthdays, Baby or wedding showers, etc...how fun!!

Stampin' Up meets Close to my Heart

I thought this one turned out so pretty!! All paper, flowers & pearls are from Stampin' Up, The stamp is from Close to my Heart...I use thed the Classy Brass pick a petal from stampin' Up to create the rust 1/2 circle under the flower.

Very simple Christmas card

This is a very simple Christmas card :-) All paper & ribbon from Stampin' up. The stamp is from Great Impressions, purchased at Stamp Works in Chandler, AZ. I used a little Stickles for lights on the tree...oh & of course that cool little ticket corner punch I used is also from Stampin' up.

Thank You...for my husband

We had an absolute blast at the Brian Regan comedy show last night!! If any of you would like to check him out... this is his website. It is totally good clean comedy!
http://www.brianregan.com/
My Husband asked me to make him a thank you card for work....I just love it when he asks me to make cards for him to give to friends & family :-)
This is what I came up with...I think it could also double for a fall/Thanksgiving card.

Spooky

Most all of the Cards & crafts I do are my own Ideas :-) I totally scrap lifted this cute little Halloween card though! It is not exactly the same but close enough! I bought this book at Michale's, the card is on page 28. It has allot of wonderful Ideas to build on.

Last post of today

This is going to have to be my last post of today...As I have a date with my husband. First we are having dinner at our favorite restaurant & then off to a comedy show at the Dodge Theater we are seeing Brian Regan. He is hilarious!! Anyway....I didn't really like this card, but will still show it ...maybe someone else has a good idea on how to make it better!! The paper is all from Stampin' up the stamps I got last year at the Arizona stamp convention. I believe the brand is called G-RATED.
The finished card is 4X6...See ya tomorrow!! I have lots more to share!

Arizona Snowmen

My stamped snowmen are the closest thing I will get to snow this winter! So I try to do a few each year. I believe all the paper from this card is from Stampin' up. Word stamp & the jumbo eyelets are as well. I used the round tab punch under the eyelets (I just love that punch)! Also from Stampin' up. The cute little snowmen I got at Stampworks in Chandler, I believe the brand is Great Impressions. I also used a little crystal Stickles on the little guys.....Wa La instant card!!!

Christmas already?

Yes I know it is a long time until Christmas! My husband already mentioned that to me! I could not help myself. It is only in the low 80's today! Living in Arizona that is almost sweater weather..te he he. Plus I have all this beautiful Christmas paper & stamps to use, thought I had better get started. All the paper from this card is from Stampin' up. I used the little furn punch for the swag & snowflake punch on the corners, and the Marvey jumbo for the center. The word stamp is from close to my heart. Finished size is 4 1/2 x 5.

Black & White Beauty

No mater how much other beautiful paper I have...I never get tired of black & white! All of the paper from this card is from my scrap pile. You know...the left over paper you are going to use someday. The beautiful ribbon is from the dollar bin at Michale's. The punch is the Marvy jumbo & the flowers are from stampin' up. the finished card size is 5x5. I love it!

Simple little card

This is an awesome punch also... This one is from Stampin up. so fun to use with the matching stamp sets. I am having a very crafty day!! I have been up for several hours. My husband is playing golf today so I have the house to myself. What a mess I have made!!! I have 5 cards done as well as the treat bag. I have to stop for a while & clean up the mess. I am having trouble finding anything!! So keep checking back if you have time to see what I have been up to :-)

More Halloween

O.K. So I guess I am not done with Halloween! This is a little treat bag made with the Martha Stewart punches....they are fabulous! so easy to punch with. The template for the bag I got at Target in the Scrapbook section. I Must say Target has really stepped up that section. So very many cute things!

Last Halloween card

I think this is the last Halloween card I need to make! It will be off to Thanksgiving & Christmas next!

Halloween Card

Found this witch stamp & paper in the Martha Stewart section at Michales...tried the old stamp, stamp, drag to make her look like she is flying.

Purse class at Deva's

This is the cute purse photo book we made at Deva's on Saturday! It was such fun...we had a good instructor...Susan Mast of Master Scrapbook Designes. Thanks Deva! for setting everything up for us!!

The purse when it is open

Fall Card

So I found a cute card I liked in the November issue of the Paper Crafts Magazine, page 93. I can never duplicate a card...it never looks right! So I end up with my own concoction. This is it, I don't love it but I will show it anyway.
Seems to need something. OH NO! gotta go...Grey's is starting!

October is Halloween time

I did have to work today, (10 hours) but have been itching to try this little basket. It didn't take long & turned out OK...yes, I think I like it! And I just had to make another door hanger. This is why I do cards & easy crafts...If it's not done in a day it will NEVER get done!! I really envy the quilters (like my sister) the needle pointers, the knitters etc...
I need the instant gratification of seeing it finished! I am the kind of a person who has to read the last page of a book after I read the first chapter...just to see how it turns out. Guess that's why I read magazines instead of books. I will try to craft tomorrow but it is another long day. Can't wait until Saturday, I am doing a purse book class at my friend Deva's I will of course be sharing that when it is finished.

Happy Birthday to my friend Zoe!

I made this card for my friend Zoe at work. I think it turned out pretty good. It always amazes me what a mess I can make just making one little card! I made it while watching Dancing With The Stars....I think Marie Osmond did wonderful tonight! I was surprised...wish I could dance like that. I am guessing at this point that the Millionaire will be the next one to go. I was hopeing Cameron would be a better dancer as I am such a fan of his on All My Children.

Learned a new card!

I was watching a scrapbooking show on the DIY Chanel the other day, my son was in the room sort of watching also. When he said "wow mom, how cool, you should totally make that!.....so off the the store I went to find the stamp they used & wa la!!! it actually turned out! Again I have to apologize for my photography, but here are the two I made.
This last photo is the two cards with the stamp in the center....it is just stamped & embossed, then each frame is cut out with an exacto knife. then the largest piece is glued to the right side. The middle piece is glued to the left side & the smaller piece is glued to the right again inside the large frame ....the cool part is then when the card is closed it all intertwines together. I then put a doodad in the center. That's it! hope you can understand my directions. If you can try getting to the DIY scrap booking page & check it out yourself!http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/sc_materials/article/0,2025,DIY_14228_2277495,00.html
